What do you think of dls, boston acoustics speakers and audiobahn subwoofers? Don't like them. There not worth it, anything will do. Did you ever own them and would you buy them again? Thanks
Audiobahn subs are ok depending on which model you are looking at. I would buy them again.

DLS makes great gear. I'd put them up top of the three. Closely followed by Boston. Audiobahn's components are their worst item, but their subs/amps are middle of the pack.
My friends swear by dls only thing about them is the price. Which is a lot any more people out there any and all feedback is welcome and what would you recommended if you do not like any of these. What headunit do you like and why??
Your friends are spot on. They know their s#it. And DLS is expensive, but you get what you pay for. If you're in the market for a set of cheaper components, check out Focal and CDT. www.thezeb.com has been running a special on CDT's for a grip now. Check out Ebay for cheap prices also. Maybe swing for the Focal 165k2p's? I'm currently running a Premier P940MP headunit. It does everything I need. 6V RCAs to boot.

HAHAHA YES I WOULD!. *sigh* yes i would.... If you visit my webpage, you'll see I've thrown a little fiberglass around that back end of mine. Before I made that box, I attempted another larger one... but scrapped it due to lack of time. Lemme ask you first, what are you planning on doing? And will you be using glass? Or MDF?
i have audiobahn components and i love em, unlike 96firebird311. but he is smarter than me.. so listen to him.. haha.
My friend had a set of DLS IR 6.3's running active off of zapco amps in his 350z. Best sounding speakers i've ever heard in a car and the midbass is ridiculous.

Naugh. To each his own. </font>
your supposed to answer him when u quote hom, hehe
i just did a rough measurement yesterday, and i got about 6.5 cuft... if u do an all fiberglass install, with onlym small wood bracings, i can see getting 7-7.5 cuft
only way to find out exactly is build the box, fill it with water or sand... and then start measuring
i will be making a fiberglass box for the back, a big one... if all goes good... i would be willing to make another...
i would charge less than subthump also!
and, audiobahn subs are alright for the price, they also have some good ones
amps are overrated, but then again... alot are for that price...

That's the way I feel about the Kodas.
Dorkins, I didn't want to answer him yet because he didn't say exactly how far he is willing to go. Spare tire and jack? Removing both side plastic panels? All carpet back there removed? And just how far up he plans on going? I've done my fair share of glass work back there...and then some. The VERY most I see anyone getting with everything removed and no wood bracing is 7.5cubes. I'll give more details on it, if that's what red93 is looking to do....
im just lookin to build a box with all the stuff in there just plop the box in and go. gonna be made with mdf, only 1 sub im going to put in there because i didnt kno exactly how much air space there is for two of em. so how much air space would ther be with just adding in the box and not taking anything out
because with mdf, you cant really EASILY go around all the curves and stuff, and you cant get it as close
a rough measurement with the ttops things out, and straight up... i got about 6.3 cuft, and there is still space in there i didnt add in...
no need to go any farther really... unless you need more than 7 cuft
