Yeah you don't buy a pack of wires, just buy about 4 or 5 ft MAX and your set. Its not as hard as you are making it to be.

i would probrably stay away from that one look at all that plastic is has in the back, cheap construction. And you only get a 2 yr warantee?

Go with www.4laterstart.com i got mine from them 2 yrs ago its a 180 amp and its still running strong. And it has a lifetime warantee, i paid about 180 shipped to my door.

Hey guys. All my amps together have a rating of 260amps. I couldn't find a 260, so I had to use a 250. Well one day I was blasting some Britney Spears and look what happened!!

                sorry (triple post)

which of these would be best to upgrade those battery wires:

                1. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...sPageName=WDVW

                2. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=26449

If you're gonna go big, mise well go all the way! :D

No seriously man, 1/0 is way overkill for the stock alt. And even if you do plan on a high output alt, 4g will be fine. Unless you go crazy extreme and make some custom brackets to hold dual 400amp alts..... .... 4g is fine.

you can make your own for like $3.00 or go to your local Auto Zone or O'Reileys look at the section where all the wires are at and they have 4 gauge wiring there thats meant to go from the alt to the battery and it already has the right connectors at the end. And for a lot cheaper than $25
