          D@mn man, can you do anything on your own?lol, you shouldn't use more than 4 feet of wire, the longest section going from + on the battery to the + alternator.

            its because no one ever answers. anyways, thank you..

            besides, id rather get advice and do it right the first time then try and do it myself not knowing what im doing and mess it up/come onto the board and post about how i messed something up.

            its like you said in a diff. thread. if i dont know what im doing, i shouldnt be messing with it. so this is my attempt to learn. [img]smile.gif[/img]

              You can use wire for almost anything, so always get more wire than you think you could need. I always try to get more than what I need for those "just in case" things that pop up that you never would expect.
