Well, the W7 sounded good but, it didn't get loud enough for me, granted it was in a sealed box with on 500 watts rms but, I love my amp and the W7 cost me a sh*t load of money. I decided to sell the w7 when my fiancee got her new car and I pulled her system from the old one. She is waiting on tint and a new h/u before I put the system in the new car so I decided to see how her audiobahn aw1200q in a custom 2 cu ft ported box(steve at subthump made it ). I put it in and its just as loud, maybe louder and hits harder! That really pissed me off because you can buy her woofer for 50 bux now on ebay and my $400+ speaker gets beat by it. I am now going with a setup that will be a lot louder than the w7, cost me about half of what I sold it for and not be as heavy! I will be running the S12L5 dvc 4 ohms wired down to 2 ohm, running off my jl 500/1 in a 2-3 cu ft long slot port box. I can't wait to get it in!
