    Really, really disappointed.

My girl bought me all the equipment for christmas, but I just now found the time to hook it up. Well my only question is can I get my money back, lol.

This thing sucks, I was driving through the park and they have these huge trees by the road, yep lost signal. Driving under an underpass, yep lost signal. Driving downtown between big buildings, yep lost signal.

I have scratched cd's I'd rather listen to.

Yeah, mine came stock and I only have used it a few time, I would rather listen to mp3's. One of my buddies got it for christmas also, his reception sucks most of the time to except for open road. I am not a fan of any sattelite radio.

hmm ya I have no signal problems either, have one in the maro with a glass mount antenna and on the truck with a magnet antenna. I can be in a parking garage in a huge storm and perfect reception. where are you mounting your antenna? If you read the installation manual(which you probably didnt) it will say you need to have the antenna stuck to a good ground(peice of metal on the car in clear view) with at least a foot of space on all sides. having a fiberglass roof this doesnt work on F-bodys it wont stick to the spoiler. Go buy a glass mount antenna, you'll be much happier.

Friend of mine hooked his up next to his passenger shock mount.

But he has a fiberglass SS hood, because, well he drives and SS.

              works fine there

Mine is mounted on the dash, passenger side couple inch in front of the a pillar. I'm using it on a FM frequency right now. I'm also getting a low buzzing noise, I have the xm unit sound all the way up, and then I still have to turn my HU up further than I would for cd's and normal radio.

A buddy of mine said the buzz is probably a bad ground?? I had circuit city do the install, yeah I'm lazy.
