Horrible Feedback from subs in the morning..

Every morning when i start my car.. the subs go crazy and shoot a monotonous low signal.. even with the volume down. What the heck is it? It never happens in the afternoon.. only in the mornings.. any clues?

I had a smilar problem and tired EVERYTHING to fix it! Re-grounded the amp, checked all the wiring, even unplugged the RCA wires. I even changed the head unit (not ONLY for this reason though - xPlod SUX) I thought it was my amp not liking cold Montana mornings.

Come to find out it was because I was listening to an AM Talk Show every morning and my amp was interfering with the AM radio. It never did it in the afternoons becuase I wasn't listening to the talk show I had it in FM for music or I had CD's playing. So I put an in-line switch into my remote wire to the amp and whenever the whine would start (which only happened when the radio was in AM mode) I would shut the amp off and it would stop immediately. And since I don't need 2 12's to listen to a talk radio show this worked really well.

Cool.. Thanks Mike.. Also i noticed when I Tap on the dashboard a "thump" noise from the subs comes out.. maybe some wires are touching that shouldnt be behind my head unit? This feedback started happening after I re installed my whole stereo system. Also when the feedback is goin on like crazy, if i hit the dash itll stop for a split second.. this weekend ill clean up the tangled mess of wires behind the dash..

sometimes if i'm in my car and i use my cell phone, the speakers buzz sometimes

yea that happens.. but this is nothing close to that BUZZ....
