Hey guys. I'm gonna be wiring 3 autometer gauges in my car and just wanted to know something. I wanted to hook all of them up ot the same 12v source, so can i just hook them all together in line and then put a 3amp fuse in line with them? Each one needs a 1 amp fuse i believe.

You can do it that way, I would just fuse each of them tho, just to be safe. You can still do it with one main power wire too. What is the power source for, the lights in the gauges?

actually... if the 1 amp fuse protects the gauge also, wire them seperate... say the gauge draws more than 1 amp... it is being allowed to because you have a 3 amp fuse...
