• 12L7?

I want to get a 12L7 but lately I've been seeing a lot of posts in other forums about them having problems with the L7's like the tinsel(sp?) wire coming off, defective voice coils, and them burning real quickly. I don't know what to do, I was going to get a refurbished one for $200. What do you guys suggest?

Should I go with the 2003 Comp Vr's 12in? I can get them for $185.

I don't think you have anything to worry about. Kicker is a very large well respected company with millions of sales a year. You really think all their products have defects? Hey, it happens once in a while. And when it does, little Joey runs online to the message boards asking... whatdoido!?!? whatdoido!?!?!? So if half of all L7 posts online are about defects, can that relate and mean that half of all L7's have defects?

Ebay, it was a refurb. I don't care if something is brand new, it has a 90 warrenty, thats good enough for me.
