Ok just recently got some speakers gave to me and wanted to know if it could be a decent set up.
First was (2)6.5 Midbass Sony XS-HF77 Mobile ES
Next was RF PCH-142X Crossovers (2)
and Last was New in Box 1005 Alpine Tweeters (2)
would this make a decent component style setup since one of my front stock speakers is busted and i want to upgrade a little.

Sony's ES line is actually pretty decent. The problem is that the Rockford crossovers were built for their matching mid and tweet. A result could be that the mid is crossed over too high or the tweet is crossed over low. Although a DIY component set is not unheard of, it's just usually on way highend gear. Only an expert on all three pieces of equipment would be able to tell you if it would sound decent or not....Hook them up and try it out. [img]smile.gif[/img]
