I'm debating between these 2 head units:
Alpine CDA-9833
Panasonic CQ-C9700U
These are both 299.99 at crutchfield.com, so price is not an issue. basically, which do u guys think is better overall. Any previous experience with either one? install cost differences? ect.

Couple of high points the other is missing.
Alpine 9833:
6-channel digital time correction, 6-position crossover with variable slope, plus subwoofer phase and level controls.
MANY people on this board have a hatred for Alpine. I personally have never seen any problems with Alpine units. Several of my friends run Alpine and all are pleased. If it were my choice between the two, it's a tough call but I'd go with the 9833. 6-channel time correction alone is worth more to me then an extra volt on the RCAs and an animated display. I have also found that a 5-band EQ is the absolute minimum I could be happy with. 9-band would be nice, but my vote goes for Alpine. Sorry guys. [img]tongue.gif[/img]
