i did exactly what u state above but with 2 screens in the visor. (one of them burnt up it was my fault) and a PS2 in the back between the 2 passenger seats are.

First of all, you will need a power converter to power the PS2, i would reccomend that you wire the power convert with like 12 awg wire to your battery make sure to fuse it! B/C if you use the cigg lighter to power the converter you will be choking it, to take full advantage of the power of the converter you have to wire it to the battery.

Next you will need an rca cable to run the video output of the screen to the yellow output on the PS2, then as for the screen just run some power to it and ground it, and your set.

Note* make sure you have a very very good ground for the power converter, as if u dont have a good ground for it, you risk burning out the converter and the PS2.

as for mounting the PS2 the only good spot i found was between the 2 rear seats where that carpet area is exposed. I built like a little rack for it, that way its unexposed to theives, and the rack is covered in black carpet so it blends in with the rest of the interior.

I have an insane urge to do this myself and I know it's not worth the money....but it would be so damn cool. How much are the screens that you put in your visor?

edoog, what color is your camaro's interior? I have a 5" LCD in my my passenger sun visor. I used to play PS1 games between classes when I was still in college.

I never use it anymore, and the women I date are always annoyed when they discover the only vanity mirror in my car is on the Driver's side. What's my point? If your visor is the light gray color with a mirror, and will fit my '99 camaro, I swap sun visors with you for the price of lunch and a few bucks worth a gas to meet you somewhere between Burbank and Riverside.

ah, well, then disregard the email I sent you. Nope, I'm not a member of GM eternal. I've never even heard of it. But I do own a 1997 chevy c/k in addition to my camaro, and I might be adding a 1996 Caprice to my collection soon. Does that qualify me?

The offer of swapping visors is still good if there are any other takers. I really don't want the LCD anymore, and it would be cool to hook up someone else who wants it.

Here's a shot of the LCD from my car domain account:

http://www.cardomain.com/member_page...=310890&page=2

If that's what your visor looks like (with a mirror of course) you've got a deal. Send me an email and we can work out the swap.

how good is the quality? and how easy was it to get it hooked up to a ps?
thanks for any info

For an lcd, it's good quality. It has a power wire, a ground wire, and an RCA plug for video input.

Are you looking a gift horse in the mouth? ;)

I can get a 5.6 power coustic VISOR screen from a friend who sells electronics for a living. The screen lists for $299 but i can get it for cost at $142, if anyone else wants one i can easily hook you up .The cheapest I've found it was $209 on the internet. IKE sound sells a power acoustic screen, but it is not for the visor
