power windows go up on remote lock

He guys. Im looking at a 1997 camaro that has stock remote door unlock and lock. I was wondering if there was any way to get the windows to automatically go up when I lock the car with the remote? Any suggestions? Thanks.

My car has that option you will need an aftermarket alarm and a window roll up module.

Then take it to a car audio place so they can install it.

i would think using that much power would be bad for the battery... window motors use a lot of power, dont they...?

and, im sure theres a way of rigging something up with relays or somethin...

They won't be on for long so power drain wouldn't be a concern. Leaving your headlights on for 10mins would be worse. Cool thing to have BTW. I have allways like vw for being able to drop the windows with the keys.

If I have a stock remote that came on the camaro you think I could just by the rollup module and splice it into the exisiting sytem or Might I have to get a whol enew alarm and everything

It CAN be done, its a hassle to use the factory alarm to do it. DO a search the idea has come up a couple times before. By me actually, anyways I ended up going with an aftermarket alarm.
