  • Alpine Type S or Type R?

I wanna get new speakers (front and back) and I checked these out at Al & Eds today and they seemed pretty nice. They only had the 5.5" in but it still packed a pretty good punch. I have no amp, just a Sony CDX-MP30 head unti which is 23.2X4 RMS. Al & Eds wanted $100 a pair but I found them for $65 at www.hookeontronics.com. Does anyone have experience with there?

      oh crap, I forgot the freakin model didn't I?! They're the SPS-170A 6-¾" 2-way Speakers

They're 6-¾" which is a perfect fit for our cars.
      Sorry about forgetting the model
