I don't really understand what you are asking. You are planning on buying a single DVC 12". Are you asking if you should put an amp on each voice coil or 1 amp for both the voice coils? Either way can be done. Although, be aware that your woofer is 1000W MAX. By definition, that's only 500W RMS. Let me know if this is what you are asking and I will help you with either.

Why waste your time and money with 2 amps? Why not one for both coils? The only reason some people do that is to run a MASSIVE amount of power to one sub. Say I wanted to run 3k watts to my woofer.... there aren't too many 3k watt amps on the market today. So I would run a 1.5k on each coil. The only other reason would be if the amps you wanted to use are not stable enough to run the two VC i parallel..... the sub will not be any louder if you use two 250W amps vs. one 500W amp.

Since I'm not sure what the impedence of the voice coils on the Volfenhag are.... and I can kinda make out you budget by your brand of woofer... I recommend the JBL BP600.1 It can be had off Ebay for roughly $165. And it's more then enough amp for that sub....
