I just replaced the door speakers with new Pioneer 6.5" speakers. The old speakers had two positive and negative connectors on it (4 wires in total connected to it), but the new speakers only have 2 connector to it where I can only connect 2 wires to it. What should I do?

do these colors seem to match.

E15 Dark Blue 1857 Left Front speaker +
E16 Light Blue 1957 Left Front speaker -

F6 Dark Green 1953 Right Front speaker -
    F7 Orange 1853 Right Front speaker +

Im not sure on the camaro, but the firebird has tweeters and midbass in the doors, the camaro does not, but it has a tweeter in the middle of the speaker, if my memory serves me correct, that should be powered off the radio, and the ones i listed are the outputs of the monsoon amp.

If they match, those are the ones i would use. But you really need to replace everything, not just speakers, as the factory system uses 2 ohm loads, ect.

There are two pairs of red and black wires.

The very short wires soldered directly to the factory speakers are indeed red and black. However, when you unplug the factory speakers, you should be left with two wires with colors similar to which SLOW mentioned.

My 02 firebird is like this. Also, my rear passenger seat speakers have short red and black wires soldered directly to the factory speakers...but again, once you unplug them, you are left with completely different colored wires.

When you went to hook up your Pioneer 6-1/2"s, and once the factory speakers were removed, did you only have (2) wires hanging out of the door or where there 4? (should only be 2 wires)

firebirds have 2 wires for the 6.75 and 2 for the tweeter, the camaro's have 4 for the 6.75 as its a coaxial speaker.

Interesting. When I removed my door panels on my monsoon equipped 02 bird, there were only 2 factory speaker wires (the wires that run through the rubber boot between the door). These 2 wires power "both" the 6-3/4" woofer including the tweeter. (see picture below that shows how mine are wired).

If you guys are saying there should be 4 wires on firebirds (2 for the 6-3/4" AND 2 for the tweeter) then the previous owner of my car must have cut and removed the other two wires.

there should have been 2 conectors, 1 for the tweeter (blue) and one for the speaker (black)

I pulled out my stock speakers now, and can take a pic ifneeded, but i have 2 seperate connectors from my 1998 TA, same as the 2001 TA i just put a system in.

Thanks Ryan, I do appreciate the info. The only connector I have is the (black) one which someone must have spliced both speakers into then.

Keep in mind that when I bought my car I found a lot of cut stereo wires so more than likely someone cut the (blue) connector off. I'll have to remove the door panels again someday and take a better look. My guess is that someone cut the (blue connector) wires wayyyyyyyyy up inside the door; probably right where they come out of the rubber boot area. Friggn' hack and butch installers....I hate em.
