need quick question answered for 12volt supply ASAP

i got a red led switch that i am hooking upto my remote wire so i can turn my bass on and off with teh flip of a switch (cant find cable that came with crossover to do this). so anyways, the switch has a little connector for a 12 volt power supply to light up the led. where can i draw this power ffrom? could i splce into the cigarette lighter or some other power wire, or do i have to run a wire from teh back of the fuse box or wat, any help would be much appreciated thanks.

youll be fine if you run the wire from the cig lighter.
