How good are the clarion amps? I am thinking about buying this one clarion amp to power my new subwoofer. This amp is only 400watts and the sub is 1000rms. clarion amp My friend said that 400watts would be enough for me. WHat do you guys think?

if the sub is 1000w rms, go with either a mono rockford amp or the jl audio 500.1 -
Clarion is only OK. IF you want big power, you'll want to go with the JBL or JL amps, they are great amps!!!
