• Amp selection help needed.

I need one or two amps to power these 2 Infinity Kappa Perfect 10.D's and to power these Infinity Kappa 6.1 Component Speakers .
I'm looking at spending up to $250 or $300, possibly a lil' more for just the right amp(s). So, any suggestions on amps, companies, what my target power to each should be, etc. will be greatly appreciated.

did u already buy these? I replied to your earlier post yesterday with a different suggestion. I definitely think the speakers i suggested are superior in every way.

For that price range, you'll not find a better deal then a pair of these. Bridge one to the subs. The other will have PLENTY of power for those components.

Cheap amps don't make for good sound quality or power, just a warning and good advice, spend the money now or wait a week or two to do it.

Just a note, Audiobahn doesn't fall under the "crap" catagory. They will indeed output rated power. No worries.

And hey! They can't suck! They were in a van on Pimp my ride!

If I get the Audiobahn A8002T and bridge it to run it to my pair of subs, it says the output would be 800W x 1 @ 4 ohm. Would that basically be equivalent to running 400W to each sub or 800W to each sub? Could someone clarify this for me?

Also, what are some other good companies to look at for amps?

Also, at what impedence do the Component speakers I mentioned regularly run at? Would this amp be a good one to power just my Infinity Kappa Perfect 6.1 Component Speakers?

For the subs how about a Viper 600.1? Orion 600x1 is a good choice too.

                400WRMS to each sub.

That will give each side 50WRMS. A respectable amount.
