Okay, I just got totally Fu@#&d by Ike Sound on my deck. I only had it in the car for about 6 months before it stopped working and pioneer said the CD mother board went out, so I sent it back to Ike and paid 30 bucks for a return fee . After waiting about 6 weeks I get the damn thing back in worse condition than I sent it in and they say they can't replace the fuggin' thing because it has customer damage, customer damage? How in the hell can you damage the "inside" of a deck, the outside casings are damn near mint, but they said the "inside" was damaged.....WTF ever! Anyway this is the deal, when something goes bad I go better. I just came up on a little money and I need to upgrade . I'm looking @ getting 1. A new deck that won't die in six months and cause anal probing from the jerks you bought it from 2. Two new 6 1/2's 3. Probably two more sets of tweeters to make six total. I'm looking to spend about 600 bucks, think it's possible? I'm starting from scratch so I need ya' help. I'm looking to buy in about a week. Thanks, holla @ ya boy. Hey man i too had some problems returning things with Ikesound.com DONT email them the guy who handles the emails is a jerk and has almost no clue what he is talking about.

Call, and ask to speak to Ike. Tell him your a customer and you were unsatisfied with the purchase. I purchased a JBL 1200.1 through them that came to me going into protect. Everyone i talked to said nope were not returning it.

But i talked to ike and with some convincing and some good people skills i sent in my amp, and i didnt even pay for shipping back to me.

Hey, I don't have an IM, but I have e-mail through my company that's almost as quick, I use my PDA to get it. Speebles1@aamu.edu, or I can set up an IM. And yea the genius behind the electronic returns is Anthony......I'll leave that alone.

Well for your 6.5 components go with a set of cdt-cl components. that will cost like 150 i believe from the zeb. then as for a HU, ECLIPSE RULES! any hu from eclipse will be nice but the 8443 is the best for the money (it has an internal amp if you dont have an external). the only problem with it (and its not a problem its just a missing feature) is that it doesnt play mp3's without the commander unit... and thats a whole hell of a lot of money.

Thanks bruh, but without an MP3 I'm lost, when you have had one you can't go back. I have like 5 MP3 discs and that like 300+ songs, I need it in my life, thanks though-I'll check on those components. How is the ZEb, I'm sitting real soft and careful since getting' all but sodemized by Ike Sound

I recommend the Alpine 9830 for the headunit. OUTSTANDING buy for the money. Plays any type of media, three sets of 4V RCAs and all the Bass Engine Plus features (which includes 4-channel time correction!)

Now then, your speakers. Couple of options. With the budget you set, you could probably squeeze out a set of components and a small amp. Now, many people choose to run JUST a front component set. If this is your cup of tea, you just need a cheap two channel amp. Easy enough. However, if you want rear speakers I suggest a 4-channel amp. There are even several other options. (You have the monsoon, correct?) Let us know what you think and we'll put together a good package for ya.
