passenger side speaker uner hatchback

When was the first year Cevy put 6 speakers in the camaros. Right now I have a 94 V6 with the 2 speakers in the door, 2 in the walls in the passenger area, and 1 under the hatchback. But when was the first year they started putting two speakers back there. And can I change the interior pannaling so I can have the 6 speaker set up on my camaro.

Any parts department would be happy to sell you a matching panel with a speaker cut-out. And i'm sure their pricetag will be outrageous. Other than that, it would be trivial running wire to it under the deck carpet from the adjacent side. It's a relatively simple mod if you don't mind spending the money for the GM finish pieces. For example, I know that the nylon thumb screws that secure the panel are about $6 each!

I've been meaning to price those since the previous owner chewed mine all up. I had no idea they were that much lol wow.

You may also want to check wrecking yards or Ebay for the panel.

I also have a 94 V-6, but I don not have a 5th speaker, only 4. Do you have a Z28 or something, or maybe an RS? I want to put two more speakers back there because I have them but I do not know how to do it?? Any help?

You just need to find the left and right panels with the speaker cutouts already in them. Don't matter if its a Z or an RS, the panels will fit.
