I replaced my non power antenna with a power antenna from a stock trans am. It is in place and working, but how do you mount the antenna in the trunk? It seems that their is a bracket on the antenna assembly but can not figure out how to mount it. I have a 97 firebird.
Other than how its attached up top when it goes through the fender, there should also be a bracket on the bottom of the antenna which fastens to the inner fender well area. If you don't have the bracket, you can make one using a thin strip of metal...just bend it to the position you need and use a sheet metal screw to secure it.
