Yes you can. You need to make sure the power wire is large enough to support both amps though. Which amps do you have? Add the fuse sizes together from both amps. 4AWG wire should be good to about 115-125 amps. Only one inline fuse needed. Yes, you can use the same remote wire for both amps. Just splice in a second wire. (Check out the stickies for info on that) If you're turning on more then 2 amps, you'll need a relay to guard against harming your H/U. You'll need three pairs of RCAs total. You CAN squeeze by with 2 pairs if you use a y-splitter on the rear RCA output. You'll need a distribution block to split your larger power wire into multiple wires to input into your amps. Easy enough.
Hey firebird I am going to run 2 amps as well but instead of running a 2/0 and a distro block I am just going to run another 4AWG wiring kit that a friend gave me. I shouldn't have any problems there should I?

Nope. Don't forget to fuse both. What amps are they? You sure a single run of 4g won't be enough?
Running the BX1500D hifonics and a kenwood KACPS650D
do you think that I can just piggyback on the 4 AWG I have now, I'd like to play it safe. And i'm sitting here with another wiring kit that can be used no problem. Oh, when I get a H/O amp am I going to have to upgrade every wire or just the big 3 with the extra amps its putting out idling.
Oh ok. I think I remember now. You aren't even running the BX1500D @ 1 ohm are you? Can't remember exactly. Get a 100amp fuse and try it out. Throw in a bass CD and let er' rip. Worse comes to worse, fuse pops and you'll know for sure. Run another 4g. But I think you'll be ok with just the one. And no, you won't have to upgrade your main power wire when you install the H/O alt. Just the big 3.

I was wondering if I can run 2 power wires w/o running a distro block. I didn't think there would be a problem with it. I got the 4g wiring kit for free from a guy that didn't use it so if I can put it to use then I'd like to, but if I don't need it then that'd be nice to resell for a few bucks. So just follow the path thats already been made from the first set of wires and go from there.
I'm running two XS1600.1's and a XS900.4 off a 150amp fuse right now. Both 1600.1's are @ 1 ohm and the 900.4 is @ 4ohms. 6V on the RCAs. I can turn it up loud enough to make the pressure on my ears VERY uncomfortable. Starts messing with my sinuses and after a second or two, it starts to make me dizzy and googley headed. Kinda cool. :D With your BX1500 running at a 2.6 ohm load, you should have no problems with a single 100 amp fuse.
Maybe i'm not comming across right, I already have another 4g wiring kit that I CAN wire the 1500 with and i'm running a 4g to my current kenwood 1200x5 amp. If I can just put in a fuse and keep the rewiring to the rear of the car that'd be nice. But if i need to use the other wiring kit I already have I would like to know.
What IM trying to say is that i think that 4 gauge wire for your 1500 is not enough, 4 gauge wire can only carry about 130 amps or so and i know that amp is pushing more than 130 amps, plus the lenght of the wire is about 20 feet and thats 20 feet worth of resistance.
So my truck is finally getting some work done, after 17 years, Oil pressure sensor went out and it’s located under the lower intake manifold. Have to...
