Check out Crutchfield.. I see them for sale all the time on that site.. They are the green speakers.. Reference are okay but I would just save 50 more dollars for the best.. I have 6 1/2 Rockford Fosgates and two Alpine 6 by 9 on the gas tank.. It sounds good for just speakers.. I was thinking about getting some Kappas but I bought a nitrous kit instead.. Oh well..

another vote for kappa's here... we got some 6X9's for the boat last year and they sound damn good just running of the HU... you should definately amp them up though as a future project.

Do you really recommend buying them used? I heard you're just being a sucker for punishment when buying used audio equipment.
