  • best amp?

what kinda of amp do u guys think is the best. i'm looking at a getting a new amp and i'll prolly go with rockford fosgate, i've heard they are the best.

my sub is a brand new 12" rf punch Z, if the type of sub matters with the amp

You are going to need to be more specific as to how you are going to run the sub. Power, Wiring (Ohms), and other components that would be before the amp.

If you don't know much goto an audio store and ask them. Most people who don't know much about stereos end up blowin an amp or sub because they don't know much about it. Trust me and go have someone who knows about the stuff install it.

RF amps are decent, but they are FAR from the best...for your sub, i'd check out a JBL600.1 from ikesound.com ...JBL makes VERY solid amps, in my opinion, some of the best amps for the price

my sub is the 2002 i think, punch z 12", i think it's 150 rms, 200 peak. i could be wrong, but that sounds right. i have friends that know a lot about stereos and stuff, so i can have them help me, but i just thought i'd see what u guys thought.

that jbl600.1 amp, i think is too big for my sub, i'm pretty sure i'd blow it and it's way out of my price range right now.

it wouldnt blow that sub if you had it hooked up and adjusted right, if you cant afford it, check out the JBL300.1 or Pioneer GM-X572
