i bought an LS1 with ttops, obviously I now need a ttop box ;)
Does the box cause the glass tops to rub a lot?
also, how much air space will I be losing from switch from the v6maro box to the ttop box?

Awesome . Did you get that Huggar SS? I'm pretty close to buying an ls1 myself.

To answer your question it depends. Are you still going ported? If so, you'll lose about .1 to .2 cu.ft per sub--which isn't bad. What you could do is get a pair of v2s and go with the shallower box sealed. Best thing is that now I have a light-weight mdf material that I use. It's more expensive, but a lot lighter than the mdf you get a the hardware store. It's awesome and so light. You'll crap your pants when you feel how light this stuff is. And it still pounds like a mofo. As for the tops, they don't rub very much. The glass pieces don't touch at all. Just the rubber on the edges. I can't tell you about my plans for this box because ppl are already starting to copy it. My copyright should be finished soon though so I can start suing. But I have some ideas for optional equipment on this box. Neat stuff

I can only assume your car has ebony interior.

:D
