• Interior Door Panels...HELP

    Hello,

I jsut installed some new infinity speakers in the doors of my 96 Camaro....I am by no means a do it myselfer, but I try from time to time...problem is I cant seem to get the door panels to go back on, they clip on fine twards the rear of the door, but not towards the front. I only tried the drivers side, got fed up with it, and took a break, I never even tried the passenger side, I was hoping to put my car back on the road this weekend, hopefully with the door panles installed

    Any help is greatly apprciated

Yeah those door panels can be frustrating sometimes. On the back of the door panel, all those plastic "hooks" need to line up with the holes on the door....once they are lined up, push in on the door panel slightly then push down to hook it in. Don't force it, just take your time.

From what I remeber, the panels have a channel at the top that must be locked in first the line up all the little panel clips/screws.

Well, I frigged with it for some time, I did get everything cliped in finally, but without another set of hands I jsut could not get the front armrest screw to line up with the hole on the door, so I brought in a friend, who managed to put the whole thing back together by himself in a few minutes....I just dont have the touch

        Thanks for the help fellas
