ive got the halo(angel eye) headlights and right now ive got the two wires that come from the halo part stuffed into the fog light connection. im not entirely sure exactly what each wire is..red one and a white one. i want to be able to turn those on and off independently from the rest of the lights.....any thoughtful suggestions on the best, safest, cleanest way to do this??

Red is positive and white is negative. Hook the red to the purple wire of the foglight and the white to the white with purple. Get soem wiretaps at your parts to store to makes things hella easy. Don't have to worry about splicing. I just wired mine up like 2 weeks ago.

that would work great, but what if i wanted to wire them independantly and run them to a switch inside the car....so i could just turn them on by their selfs

any ideas on how to do that easily?

That would be a bit more complicated. You would have to get its own power source and then get a good ground for it, then run the wires through your firewall then to your switch. IMO it is not worth it. The LED is not even too bright.

Is it worth it even to have them?

For looks yes. Especially if your stock ones are all hazy and yellow. Can't beat the price they sell the halos for compared to stock ones. I have them wired to my fogs. So whenever I beep my alarm or something they go off. Not to many people will pay attention unless you are parked.
