has anyone done this and how i know there are some company's taht sell kits for it but im confused on how it actually works so if anyone has done this sahr ethe wealth i did a search and came up empty handed

battery relocation

Though I've never done it, relocating the battery is just a matter of extending the length of the main battery wire and making sure the battery itself is securly mounted wherever you locate it. If locating in the trunk, you'll need to use thick guage wire like 2-awg or thicker. Hope this helps2006 Tiburon

Under the hood, you could use a 'distribution block' to tie all 3 of the (+) wires into the new thick (2-awg or thicker) wire.

your pretty much going to need 0 gauge which is very expensive, i paid about 120 for my 0 gauge wiring kit.
I know 12secv6 has his battery in the back but he put it back in the front BC his car would have trouble cranking.
Also if your going to relocate the battery to inside the car your going to have to get a sealed battery like an Optima.
