  • Upgrading Power/Ground Pictures...

Ive had many people email me asking me how to upgrade their power/ground wires i try as best i can to guide them but its difficult w/o pictures.

I got a hold of a digi cam, a crappy one at that and snapped some pictures. To help out those members that need help in doing this.

This first picture is a picture of the back of my alt and how i upgraded to 0 gauge wire, note you must keep the factory wire back there too.

This next picture shows where the other end of the upgrade wire goes, it will go to the + of the battery. The red wire is the one coming from my alt, and the blue wire is the one that goes to the amps.

Now to upgrade your ground... The purple is my ground.

And this is where the other side of the 0 gauge ground goes to, the - side of the battery.

might want to run a 4 guage wire down to the frame of the car, it's not really required on your typical systems. I've got rid of some nasty engine wine doing this. I'm only saying 4 guage since you have 0 guage wiring already.
