Defend yourself? Against what? Utterly useless words? I'm sorry that typing frightens you so much that you feel the need to "defend" yourself. Besides, if someone is acting childish, you are acting no better by playing the same game. You say you are just defending yourself, and then go on to call someone else a loser and say that you aren't going to acknowledge their "stupidity", when by that statement alone you did exactly the opposite. If you're not going to acknowledge it, just ignore them.

I am here to help those with what knowledge I do have and to gain knowledge from other people. I don't claim to know everything, and if I did I wouldn't need to post here asking questions. I am sure you don't know everything there is to know either, so why bother struggling to prove otherwise? People who talk like elementary school bullies just get ignored by me. I read that thread as it developed and I was not impressed by what some people had to say in the least. If you have knowledge that conflicts with someone else, prove that yours is correct by posting sources or the information for us to go find it out for ourselves. Being able to beat every member of this board up or even posting empty threats to people you couldn't even pick out in a crowd does not make your information any more valuable and does not impress me any more than some sound and solid information. I have nothing to prove to you or any other member here, and anything posted calling me names or threatening to beat me up will be enjoyed with a good laugh and a few beers. If you want to see how tough someone is, take it somewhere else. I am sure there are plenty of people you can fight offline in your own town. If you need the computer to make yourself feel more secure, then all I can say is I feel sorry for you or anyone else who acts this way. The only thing posts like that accomplish is to let others know which members to ignore. So IMHO, you are only hurting yourself and making yourself look bad by posting stuff like that.

I'm here to help and to gather info... not to get into a flexing match. As I said, if you have something to say or something to prove, do it to the person's face. Doing it online is pretty darn pathetic.

That's all I have to say on this matter. My policy is this. Ignore the ignorant. Therefore, any more childish posts will simply be passed up by me and I will move on to someone with something valuable to say.

Your behavior was unacceptable and I did what I needed to do to stop the continuation of the problem thread and teach you the rules of the board in 1 shot. Obviously, the latter didn't work.

If you have a problem with my actions, e-mail the admins. I'll have you know, they've already been e-mailed on this problem.
