I was just wondering if anyone else has had a problem with the monsoon stereo system in their cars acting up. I have a '99 Firebird. I love the sound,... (I'm not into real loud base or anything) but when I crank the car, intermittently, the lcd flashes all kids of crazy symbols, you cannot read the clock, tuner frequency, or CD information. Is this just an aggrivating nuance of this stereo system, or is something wrong?? Any thoughts or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

what weird symbols is it displaying? and when is it doing it? (when the radio is off, when you're playing a cd, when you're playing the radio, both?)
I have a 99 Camaro w/ the Monsoon system. Never had the problem you're having though [img]smile.gif[/img]Comment

It doesnt really say anything, and it changes through all kinds of crazy symbols. It happens when I start the car after it has been sitting. I had to have the alternator replaced (imagine that) and thought that is was just a low battery causing the lcd to kinka fritz out, but it is doing it even with the new alternator. I am baffled.
