Well, the problem I am having with my headunit is that the entire right hand side of the unit does not light up. To better explain myself, when I turn my lights on at night, the both the volume knob and tuner knob to not light up. I checked the fuses and I do not have any of them burned. Could this be cause of a installed glow gauge? a week later, small amount of white smoke began to come out of the steering columm, and after that my problem happened. Can this problem of mine be repaired by removing my glow gauge entirely or would I need to have someone check the wires fro a short? In other words, can my unit be fixed, or will I need to replace it? Feedback appreciated.
