Fits in the well. Notice the notch out of the one side. Fits around the hatch latch. Now, it's hard to tell from that picture.... but it doesn't look like it fits all that well. Nothing like these . Just look at that notch!
No doubt that it looks kinda cheap but it is also advertised for an 85-92 Camaro. IIRC, the latch area was wider than the 4th gens which is why the notch in the box is so wide.
I would just get it from Steve at www.subthump.com , He has built 3 boxes for me.
