I just finished installing my system. Everything is connected and I checked everything several times. Every now and then my subs cut out and I have to whack the cd player to get them going again. I took apart my dash and found out that if I touch or move the rca cables at the headunit the subs will go on and off. I have them now so they dont do it as much but sometimes I hit a bump and they shut off. This is getting annoying.

Could be that the barrel (around the outside of the plugs) is not fitting tight enough on the headunit. How hard is it to pull the plug off the headunit? Does it just slide off? Or does it need a little tug? Also, on some RCAs the barrel becomes unscrewed fairly easy. (knukonceptz comes to mind) Make sure both ends are screwed together tight before plugging them into the headunit.
