  • Alpine SPS-170A

    Anyone have these or heard anything about them? They're not overly priced and they sounded alright at best buy but is there anything better for the money? Thanks for your help

    Doubtful. You can snag them for $21 new off Ebay. If they even work it's worth that price. :D

      I have em. They're OK but I wouldn't mind getting new speakers with a component tweeter separate. The SPS 170s are not the smoothest I've heard but for the money they're not bad. I got mine online for I think $65/pr.

        thanks for your help guys.I decided to go with some kinda jl component speaker i forgot the model but it sounded louder and clearer than the alpines.

          If you have the monsoon system, you better find a speaker that is 2ohms! If you get one that is 4ohms, it might sound better, but it wont get half as loud as a 2ohm speaker.
