i have Infinity speakers in my doors, and they're great. i have the stock speakers in the back seat, and they're crap. they sound ok, but the wiring is ****. just today, both backseat speakers cut out on me. i'm not an electronic genius, so what can i do to fix this (short of ripping both speakers out and replacing them with better ones)?

are you asking how to fix a wiring problem without opening up the sails to get to the speakers?
By the way, if they're cutting out at the same time, then it's not a loose connection -- it's a problem with the amplifier.╓
║ Matt M
║ Down with the Sixxness
║ Polo Green 1995 3.8 Camaro
║ intake, cat, catback, shocks, 3.42\'s, and 12\'s in the trunk
╙

i'm not sure what the problem is....they cut out, then come back on occaisionally if i hit a bump or something. while they're on, it sounds static-y. they worked fine when i bought the car, but they just recently started to act up.\'98 Camaro - SOLD
Best E/T: 15.489 @ 86.48 MPH
60\': 2.131
members.cardomain.com/skorpion317
1998 Saturn SL2
Official NJ Disturbance bracket racer

sounds like a loose connection somewhere. Again, if it's a single speaker that's cutting out, then I'd check the wiring at the speaker posts and at the amplifer. If both rears are cutting out at the same time, then it sounds like a bad connection in your amplifier's internals.
It sounds like it's time for a new head unit.╓
║ Matt M
║ Down with the Sixxness
║ Polo Green 1995 3.8 Camaro
║ intake, cat, catback, shocks, 3.42\'s, and 12\'s in the trunk
╙
