i did a search on this and couldnt find any sizes. One of my rearview mirror lights is out and one of my lights over the controls on the door are out so i was thinking of replacing them considering i have nothing better to do with my time. I would really like to put some red LED's in their place but im sure autozone or pepboys wouldnt have them. Anyway, anyone know the bulb sizes or where i can find some colored ones?

For a 97, I think you have bulb #211. You can get LED replacements #4211 from www.superbrightleds.com/1157.htm for around $2 each.Jason McCallister, Founder & Webmaster
West Tennessee F-Body Association, Inc.

2000 Camaro - Details

Thanks pewterbird for the listing of bulb sizes on a neighboring post in this category. It will be helpful to me as I stumble through upkeep on my 96 bird. For Fabulous24, I just changed those door lights you speak of and the guy at Autozone directed me to a #74 bulb. I asked him about any upgrades or exchanges to possibly make it brighter and he expressed concerns about the amount of heat in that tight little area. I have also read posts here on the site that also voiced pretty much the same opinion. I'm not sure about the Camaro, but on the firebird, those little door panel lights are a piece of cake. I'm really no handyman and it took me all of 30 minutes to change both. Nothing to it.... just a flat head screwdriver (to pop the lenses out) and either small fingers or a pair of needle nose pliers to grab the bulb. ;)Jason McCallister, Founder & Webmaster
West Tennessee F-Body Association, Inc.

2000 Camaro - Details
