• Have to build new box help?

Alright well i'md doing comp in USAC and i'm hittin in the 148.8 to 151.1 range depending on meter and weather conditions with either amp the spl is identical on them days one amp runs 0-150 class and the other is 151-300 stock classes so that means i've exceeded the limits of my box i need some help building a new box for finals i wana be able to hit a 155 at least so i can get in the top 5 but i need to stay in the stock catagory
which means the box has to stay below the window line and behind the seat along with the equipment so any suggestoins on dementions and if you know what i can get outta it i wana keepo the 2 12's that i have already if you wana see the my current setup check out the sig or look for boboboom2 on sounddomain.com or this link if it works for you Boboboom2 96 camaro RS any and all input would be appricated thanks

The box you have now looks pretty cool, but doesn't appear to have much air-space to it. Do you have an approximation of it's chamber size. Ever considered ported? Please tell us about your equipment. What kind of amps and subs are you running? Just curious and tryin' to help. Maybe I could build one for ya--dunno.

Alright well thanks for the compliment me and a freind built it he runs a stereo shop we built it to be prettyy and functional in stealth ability also and quickness to change amps to run the power classes the box didn't hit as hard as hoped but we also changed subs mid through building process sorry my Sig didn;t show up but if you look on the sound domain page it gives you all the info pretty much the box right now is like 1 to 1.5 cubs we figure it takes up that last part of the well area 15 farad alumapro cap and lookin at addin the super bat cap wich puts 16 volts out to the amp havin a bit of a issue with voltage drop even with the 200 amp alt the 2 amps are american bass 1200d and a 1800XD XD is rated at 150 RMS or so said by american bass and is suppose to be a combination of digital and normal i guess not totally sure and the 1200D is 300 RMS and it's fully digital subs a VFL Cast dual voice coils wired at i do belive 1.5 for crusing around then wired down to .75 for comp get 4 burps outta the 1800 before shutdown and 2 at most outta the 1200D both hit the same decibals on the same day so that mean my box has to get bigger we plan on building a ruff one just so i can kick *** at finals i wana place in top 5 but first would be awesome for my 0-150 stock class is what i plan to run it's not plannin to be pretty just hit hard i need to get to a 156 db to get 2nd from what the scores are at now i don;t think i can beat a 177 is what i guy has been hittin in that class not sure what he has but damn and we are lookin at a ported or a vented box actaully trying to keep my cost down so i just wana build a box and not have to add any more speakers if neccesary if you want check out the american bass website for specs on the subs we was originally gona use 2 infinity perfect 10's but i thought with the power i was gona use they would be overdrivven so i went with the american basses but then the box was a bit small but still i am runnin average numbers according to USACi for umm but i think i have rambeled on enough if you wana know anything else please ask thanks :D
