HELP brand new speaker crackling

I just got a new system two 6 1/2's in the front with components. They're rockford fosgate. The first day I had them installled I played them all day and they sounded absoutely great. i didn't play them loud at all. the next day I get in my car to go to school and the front right one is cracklng like crazy, even at a low volume. I know I didn't blow it out because I never played it loud. I get in my car after school and it sounds fine. Then the next day crackling again. what th heck is the problem?

maybe a defect?, try your original speaker in that spot, if it works...well your new one is dead

You may also want to pull the speaker and check the wiring. Make sure the wires are tight on the terminals and not touching anything else. But wait, you say you had them installed so just have them take a look for you 1st.
