What is the advantage that aftermarket security system have compare to the stock f-body?
Our stock system has starter and fuel cut out , so what is the advantage except nice pek-pek sound and maybe a blue LED?
After-market alarms have more flexibility if you want to expand on the alarm system. The brain offers extra outputs and inputs which can be used for various things like adding on a remote start for example. After-market alarms also make it easier to add on things like motion sensors, glass breakage sensors, etc. The factory alarm that comes on our cars is actually pretty decent as far as factory alarms are concerned. If your car doesn't have any type of alarm at all, I'd get an after-market one.
