Ive compared this with the stock one and Im guessing I need a mounting kit right because the stock one is so much larger it needs a mounting kit to cover the extra space? Please let me know and how much one of these costs? Thanks!!
Well it was wierd when I bought it I was like so it comes with a wiring harness, mounting kit, etc...he said yes. And it didnt..so Im guessing I have to spend another 15$ for the mounting plate? Would it be cheaper just to let them install it? Thanks!
Installers usually make you pay for the parts AS WELL AS the install itself. So you'd be paying $15 + install fee. (Probably $25) Read the modification encyclopedia for all you need to install an aftermarket H/U in place of stock. [img]smile.gif[/img]
Thanks guys I went there today and got the mounting kit,GM wiring harness and antenna adapter for a little over 50$ and installed it myself. Looks and sounds great. ;)
