So i had a bad sony 6x9 in my trunk passanger side. Got rid of it the other day and put in a JL, well it has been a day and the JL is already crackling. Is that is just a conincidence and JL gave me a bad speaker or is there something wrong with the signal the amp is supplying to that speaker(is that even possible?)? I want to know if i should go yell at circut city or not.

try another speaker? lol. nah it might be the connection from the amp to the speaker. try swapping the 6x9s from side to side and see if you have a problem with a)the speaker still crackles or b)now the other one crackles. if its a..then yea.. its the speaker.. if its b, then its a connection problem. i dont think it would be the amp.Dave:
