I was thinking about getting these but what do I connect them to? is there some place in my fuse box or do I have to run it all the day to my front amber light???

you could run it to your fuse box....however our rear-views arent that big to begin with, this would only make it smaller and less viewable...wouldnt really fit..but is up to you

they make new mirrors, not for our cars...not that Ive seen at least...yukons blazers and such...however they do make a "do-it-yourself" kt that Ive seen...doesnt look like factory though, pretty shotty...

Actually they look pretty badass sure beats paying a couple of hundred for that mod and you to the wires of the turn signals "looks" pretty easy to do, been thinking about doing it myself.

            survey says... RICE.

If you are going to do it, at least do it red so it quazi looks stock.

I see no Type R stickers on those blinkers, why is it rice?

Sorry man don't have that answer for you and I probably won't until I get down there and find the wires my self, have you tried checking the bar for the blinkers?
Actually the easiest wires "I can think of" are the ones to the rear bumper signal lights or maybe the front blinkers.

yea, it is kind of rice. if anyone cant see the bug-eye taillights we have been gifted with, they shouldnt be driving.

why rice? anything not stock on your car and gaudy is rice.

you could probably find wires for the blinkers under the steering column comming from the switch, just test it with a DMM it should change from 12v to 0v when it flashes.

They just stick to the outside of the mirror though...it would look rice...unless you can get the ones that shine through and look stock don't do it. Notice how they don't show them off and during the day....cause they will look ugly as hell.

                          my point exactly

the only thing I can suggest, is not have the leds in, or on the mirror at all, you'd have to shove the leds in the small gap inbetween the mirror and the outer edge of the mirror...I think there is enough room, the mirror itself cannot be removed from the housing so it will be very trick running the wires through there...another thing is this also jams the mirror in place, so you wont be moving your mirror any more....you wouldnt really see them during the day becuase the leds are so small and clear, however the second you turn them on you get a nice shine coming out of your mirror, this same thing can be done to another level....having multiple leds run the circumfrence of the mirror housing all the way around the mirror...however pushed in slightly so the bulb cannot be seen this would make the entire mirror glow or would at least make a faint line around the mirror....thats all I can think of right not to make it work and make it look nice....the only down side is routing the wire through the mirror, and the wires interfering with the power mechanism ;) .... tell me what ya think of that?
