ok, i just got my new head unit but there is absolutely no sound coming out of the stock subs. I had the monsoon system. Is there a wire that connects to the wiring harness that powers the amp or the subs?

The factory Monsoon AMP turns on from the "speaker" inputs from the factory wiring harness in the dash. There is no remote wire.
If you bi-passed the speaker wires on the factory wiring harness in the dash then that's why your woofer's aren't working. How did you wire your new head unit to your speakers? (Did you just run new wire?)2006 Tiburon -
i ran straight wires to the front speakers because they were aftermarket 4 ohms. Yeah I understand why you ran new wires to your front door speakers.
The monsoon amp may need to see a singnal from all of the speaker wires for it to work. Are the speakers wayyy back in the hatch area working?2006 TiburonComment
