hmmm, my only problem is if you are in a bad accident, you might be impaled by a flying t-top

I saw one that you could flip up/down, looked like a good idea to me...

I swear Steve, youve done it again! You amaze me my friend. Always coming up with something bad-*** !! You have any pics of any amp racks youve done? Im looking into an amprack here in the future.

          Thanks,
          Aaron

Don't have much in the way of amp rack pics. Just the basic stuff that's on my site. Unless you have some ideas.

Say, you looking to sell your w3s? I may have found a buyer if you still got 'em. So who's the "friend"? And when's he gonna buy himself a nice box? ;)

Won't having your t-tops like that damage them?

The notch is lined with foam weatherstripping. And if you slide something soft in-bettween and strap them together than no. no damage. The pieces of the box on either side of the tops actually hold it away from the front of the well so the cavity is maintained. ;)

It's pretty cool I guess if you need that much Kick but always just a single 10 or 12 in that hideaway box is better so you can store you t-tops the proper way. Also like one mentioned before, it does kinda look like you would be decapitated by the t-tops in the event of an accident? Just a thought. Anyways looks good :D

                    The proper way

This isn't for everyone. This setup is for guys who like boxes with two subs and LOTS of bass and would like somewhere other than the back seat to put the tops. Regardless of what you think, some do not like stealthboxes. And they are limited IMO. It's hard to win competitions with a 10" stealth.

                      Looks good man!

Like someone said I'd be worried about airborn t-tops if you had to slam on your brakes or hit someone, but that is a really good idea!

my box doesn't allow t-top storage but who cares. I just set them in the back seat. Unless u plan to store a ton of groceries on have the car jammed packed with people, (even so the t-tops fit on the rear deck behind the seat just in front of the box)

anyways, you guys would be surprised that not having that storage in the trunk for them really isn't all that bad.

Well, some people do care. Till now I haven't been one of them ;) But after having this box in my car and all, I'm definately going to go that rout eventually.

The idea behind this box was inspired by a guy who had a few criteria in mind. 1. House two 12" Adire Brahmas. 2. Handle 2400 watts RMS. 3. Keep the rear seat free for passengers. 4. Give the tops somewhere to be placed. 5. Hit at least 150dbs. 6. Look bad@ss. So given that criteria, this is what I came up with. All of those should be met once he gets it metered. :D
