  • 1996 Camaro AC Delco Bose Radio

Hello, I was wondering if the 1996 Camaro AC Delco Bose sound system has RCA (green and white) jacks? I'm looking at buying a Bazooka tube and I need to know if it would work with my stock system?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
    Thanks in advance!
    Dustin

My 97 has no such thing. Yours probably doesn't either. It's not like OEMs to use rca jacks or anything that might vibrate loose over the life of the car or become easily unplugged while a tech is working on something.

Tap into the signal from one of your speaker channels and use a speaker-level to line-level cinverter. it won't be the cleanest possible sound, but it'll work.

Nope. Sorry. No RCA jacks on the stock H/U.

Thanks for the responses! I was actually thinking about hooking it up to the stock subwoofer in the rear of my car, I think that may work but I'm probably wrong, any thoughts on that idea?
          Thanks,

i am running a bazooka in my camaro with the bose systen. i just hooked it up to the rear speaker wires. the bazooka will compensate for the power out of the bose amps. if you are using a amplified bazoka as i am. is sounds great. i made my bose system amps and spks out of a 95 maxima, radio off of ebay.

I had two 12" bazookas running off a memphis 250w (not the tubes, they were in a box) and it sounded very nice. I had to buy a high level RCA adapter for $25 to compensate for the lack of RCA jacks, but it's worth it if you're into bass.

I'm not, so I sold my little system lol
