  • solobaric or cvr? what should i get

yes i know the solobaric is much louder and can handle more, my question is: first let me tell you what i have:
    1 kicker solobaric 10 L7 600 watts rms 2 ohms
    audiobahn 8000t 800 watts rms 2 ohms

    my options:
get another 10 solobaric i would have 2!!!
    1 12 solobaric L7 (750 rms)
2 kicker cvr 12(800 watts rms)

i want decent sound quality but i also want to hit hard when i need to!! it is kind of a battle of sq vs. bass!! my decision would be much easier if i could listen to all the choices but i cant!! so that why i am here to ask for opinions, and all the choices are going to run me about the same price!!!

How much room you got? You plan on making the box yourself?

All i have to say is i have a solar baric wired in at 2ohm on a horrible amp and i can make people have me turn the base down it wrattles their heads so much. It is a sick sub if you wire it in right! I only have it on the drives side stealth box in a 10 to. I don't even want to see what a properly set up 10 with a good amp and box space can do, or even a set of 12s.

Solos are beautiful. Get the 12 and rig the 10 as your Mid you won't regret it. If you rig them both on sub feequency it's pointless. You'll never hear your 10 and the bass will be way off (Different point of origionation for the wave)

N E ways, keep the solo, the cvr's aren't that good.

So you'd run the 10 and the 12 both and get more? I'd run 2 10's or 2 12's. In my experience with audio engineering running multiple sizes never sounds quite as good as two of the same size.

I never said I would use the 10 and the 12, you said use the 10 as you mid. I would also you 2 10's or 2 12's or even with the right vented box use just the 1 10. A solo 10 couldn't do the job as a "mid".

That's a sad day for anyone with a Camaro, it'll get better with that insurance money though.
