Hey, I'm going to be making a box for my 12L7 similar to the one in the link. I'm going to go with round ports. How many ports should I put on it? http://subthump.com/images/camaro/well/zb1.jpg
Afraid it goes a little deeper then that.... how much power do you plan on running to the single 12L7? What frequency are you looking to tune your box to? What's the diameter of the round ports you're planning on using?
Straight up links to other boards is not allowed. Giving some helpful info of your own, then linking to places where he can learn more is entirely different.
Yeah we really need to know more info before we can tell you what to do. I agree that those other two sites are great references as well. You probably have some more research to do before trying to tackle a ported box. Its not hard you just need to get some more knowledge.

You're damn right there is. I never said you couldn't link him to other boards at all. But your blatant post of ONLY a link to another board is spam-like. And being that you JUST registered....
Redmaro, post back up with the answers to my questions and I'll be more then happy to help you with the knowledge that I have as well as point you to other useful resources.
I would go with 1 port that's probably all your going to need and trust me its going to be loud enough.
