my rear left speaker (stock) keeps on just suddenly not working, then it'll work, then not again... it did this with the stock unit, now i have a new HU, and same problem, so am i thinking a wiring problem (if its a bad ground, where would it be)... i have new speakers to install, but want to fix this problem before i fit the new ones in...
thanks for any suggestions

Best thing I ever did is when I installed a new HU, I ran all new 14ga speaker wire to all of my speakers I pulled the seats out (front & back), lifted the rug, and ran all of the wire under everything so they cannot be seen. This way, I can eliminate the wires if my speakers start acting up. ;)
Your speakers may be faulty, but running new wires is always a good bet -IMO.
