Welcome to the World of road noise. First did you run the power line on the same side as the RCA's ?? and second did you Used a shielded RCA cable.. I'll tell ya I learned the hard way when I bought some cheap A$$ RCA's from walmart in my first car and the road noise was Terrible. ANd another thing Chet Check your ground as well. Make sure its sanded down and cleaned up real nice that is also a possibility of causing that annoying noise.. And tell me Do you hear it alot when your accelerating ??

Alright man here's something you can try.. Head to Best Buy buy or your local audio store and pick up some SHielded Rockford Fosgate RCA's I used those after I had bought my first set of cheap RCA's. THere really Good ANd I didnt get one bit or road noise after I intalled them. ANother good one if you like to pay for Really good stuff is Monter Cable Pick up a kit of there amp wiring wires and trust me Run the power on the opposite side of the RCA and Man you got urself some Good Wires and you probably will not get any road noise. But if your looking for regular just simple get the noise away Rockford is a good bang for the buck. BUt trust me on these i've been installing stereo systems for years in People's cars and not one of them have I had road noise. I make them buy decent crap before I install Cause I don't like being the one to blame when they get that annoying rumbling.

Ow ya Chet one more thing if its a small two channel amp another way to Eliminate the prob. Put it under the seat if you havent and use a smaller RCA the smaller the better.. Less chance of noise getting in. ANd if your running another set of RCA's for subwoofers thennnn that might be causeing a small prob. Just another thought. Lemme know how it goes bro.

Honestly man I think that the two rca's running next to each other may be causing the issues your having. If your using bad rca's that arent shielded then that's your problem. But you can also use one set of RCA's with Y-connectors. Before you go and buy a nice set of RCA's man try the y connectors first there like 2 bucks at radio shack. WHen i Did my old system I had 3 amps and 2 rca's with 1 of the rca's running y-connectors for the highs in the car and it sounded amazing no road noise at all. 1 set of rca's with y connectors maybe your best way out if you were not having noise with the first set of RCA's keep me posted man.
